Roy Disney Dies

Walt Disney's nephew, Roy Disney, has died yesterday after a year of battling with stomach cancer. Disney was part of the Walt Disney Company and was a big inspiration to it. His father, Roy O. Disney, and his uncle, Walt Disney, co founded Disney Entertainment business. Disney was the head of Disney Animation and owner of Shamrock Holdings. He was 79 when he died. R.I.P

Selena Gomez Helps Stray Dogs

Selena Gomez was recently on the Ellen Degeneres show, and Selena shared that she has 5 dogs that she has adopted and the dogs were stray dogs. 4 of the dogs she adopted in Texas and her other dog was adopted in Puerto Rico when she was filming a movie. Selena is also part of an organization that helps stray dogs. Hurray for Selena for helping the animals in need.

Spongebob is the Best!!!

Nickelodeon wants 26 more episodes of the hit cartoon show, Spongebob. Nickelodeon's animation president, Brown Johnson, says that Spongebob has been a hit cartoon for already a decade and it already has a total of 178 episodes for the series. Spongebob is the most watched and loved cartoon in all of history. Like who isn't going to love Spongebob.

Golden Globes Announced

The Golden Globes have been announced this morning. Up in the Air has 6 nominations which include George Clooney for Best Performance Actor in a Motion Picture and Best Motion Picture. Sandra Bullock got nominated for Best Performance Actress in a Motion Picture in The Blind Side and Best Performance in a Motion Picture for The Proposal. Not only did they get nominated but the hit show, Glee. Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch got nominated for their awesome characters in Glee. The Golden Globes will air on January 17, 2010 on NBC.

The Kardashians

Yesterday was the season premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The new season will have some big drama between Khloe and Scott, Kourtney's baby daddy. Khloe can't stand Scott for cheating on Kourtney. Scott is just trying change and be nicer to the family, but it seems that Kris and Khloe won't forgive Scott for what he did. Will this change before the baby arrives or will they still be arguing once the baby comes. I just know that this season is going to be the most dramatic season yet. Tune in to watch more on E! at 10pm on Sundays.

19th Duggar is Born

Congrats to the Duggar family. Michelle Duggar, star of the reality show 18 Kids and Counting has delivered her 19th daughter, Josie Brooklyn. The baby was born premature weighing 1 lb and 6oz due to Michelle's gallstone. Earlier this week she was taken to the hospital because of pain she felt. The baby was born via C-section and the mother and daughter are doing just fine. :)

Apple Announces Best of 2009

The best app of '09 was Sims 3. Best movies were Quantum of the Solace, Twilight, and Star Trek. The most downloaded song on Itunes was "Boom Boom Pow" by the Black Eyed Peas.

Eminem Best Artist of the Decade

Eminem is the best selling artist of the decade. Congrats to him. His hits like "We Made You" and "Crack A Bottle" has probably made him gain this much success. Who would have thought that the controversial rapper, would be best artist of the decade. I guess looks does not have to do with the success of a person.

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady Parents to a Baby Boy

Congrats to Gisele and Tom. They are now proud parents of a little baby boy. Their baby came into this world last night, Tuesday December 8, 2009. The proud papa is so happy with the new addition to his family. He says his son is "a wonderful experience in my life...I didn't get much sleep last night." It's the first kid for Gisele Bündchen and the second for Tom Brady.

Lady Gaga & the Queen of England

The Grammy nominated pop singer, Lady Gaga, went to England to perform in front of the British Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, Prince Philip for Royal Variety Performance. Among the performers were Miley Cyrus, Whoopi Goldberg and Chaka Khan.

Uma Thurman No Longer Engaged

Uma Thurman and her fiance, Arpad "Arki" Busson, have called off their engagement about 2 months ago, a close friend says. They still remain close friends. Arpad "Arki" Busson, is a multimillionaire who proposed a year ago after dating for a year. The pair had been dating since 2007.

Alexa Ray Joel Hospitalized

Billy Joel's and Christie Brinkley's daughter, Alexa Ray Joel was hospitalized this weekend at St.Vincent's Hospital in NYC. Supposedly she was hospitalized for taking a few pills after having an argument with her boyfriend. Her mother, the former model, Christie Brinkley was by here side and her father, musician Billy Joel, was staying touch with her through the phone.

Zombieland Sequel and Jackass 3 to be in 3D

The hit movies, Zombieland and Jackass will be made into 3D sequels. Sony is to produce the 2 movies. Lately it has been common for movies to be made into 3D. 3D movies usually get big bucks at the box office. I have a feeling that in the future, most movies will be made into 3D.

Twitter is the Word of 2009

According to the Global Language Monitor, Twitter is the word of 2009 according to the English language. The second most famous word was "unemployed" and "H1N1". Twitter became famous this year and now it's the most famous word. Congrats to Twitter.

Jailed for Not Tweeting

An exec producer from Def Jam records, has gone to jail for not tweeting. The police asked the exec producer to tweet for fans to leave a Justin Bieber's concert at the Roosevelt Mall. The concert was really full and it was not safe for fans to be there. Since the exec producer did not listen to the orders given by the police officer he was taken to jail. Wow I never would have guessed that this could happen but Twitter is a very strong thing.

Taylor Lautner likes Owl City & has Good Taste in Music

Taylor Lautner has good taste in music. According to Itunes Celebrity Playlist Podcast, the New Moon star likes Owl City, Kings of Leon, Black Eyed Peas, and U2. He says he likes to hear " I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas when driving down the 101. Also, the star says he recently went to a King of Leon concert while filming the third installment of the Twilight Saga: Eclipse. It's true, girls always love a guy who has good taste in music and no wonder girls are crazy for Taylor Lautner.

NEW MOON

New Moon made big bucks this weekend. Just this weekend it made $144.7 million. Most of the people that watched New Moon, were girls and under 21. New Moon was the second installment for the Twilight Saga. This movie was mostly about the friendship between Jacob and Bella and about the suicidal Bella and Edward. The movie wasn't as good as the first, but maybe it's I didn't like New Moon. In my opinion, Twilight was still the best book and movie. Can't wait to see the third installment of the Twilight Saga. Eclipse will premiere on June 30, 2010.

New Moon Premiere

The much anticipated movie, New Moon, premiered today at 12 am. Fans went crazy for this movie. Tickets were sold out online because so many fans were dying to see this movie. Other fans slept outside the theaters just to watch the movie. These fans are really Twihard fans. I'm big fan of the Twilight Saga but I would not go that crazy. But once again, I guess the movie is so worth it because it has one of the sexiest cast ever seen. I hear big bucks this weekend for this movie. Can't wait to watch the movie.

Johnny Depp Sexiest Man Alive

Johnny Depp is the The Sexiest Man Alive according to People magazine for the year 2009. This the sexy actor's second time winning this title. The first time he won was in 2003. Johnny Depp so deserves this title. He is one of the best actors in Hollywood and he is looking pretty good for his age (46). Others who were included for Sexiest Men Alive were Ryan Reynolds, Gerard Butler, Robert Pattinson, George Clooney and others. Congrats to Johnny Depp and may he look better as he ages. :)

JUSTIN BEIBER

Yesterday the adorable new pop singer, Justin Beiber, performed at Universal Citywalk and his new CD, My World, came out. The pop singer had a free concert to celebrate the release of his new album. Lots of fans which were girls were screaming will the top of their lungs. The place was packed with girls, girls and more girls. Yours truly went to the concert to see this new incoming singer. He was amazing up on stage even though he made fans wait an 1 hour and a half because he was invited to George Lopez's show, Lopez Tonight. Not nice of him to make his fans wait. But at the end it was worth it. He sang "One Time", "One Less Lonely Girl", "Favorite Girl" and others. For his ending act he sang with all his fan "With You" by Chris Brown. Congrats to Justin Beiber for his big success

Youtube in HD 1080p

Youtube has announced that starting this week, Youtube users will have the option of watching videos in 1080 p resolution. The current highest resolution is 720 p. Finally users will be able to watch their favorite videos in HD. It will be like watching blu-ray. :)

Janet Jackson Blames Dr. Murray for Michael's Death

In an interview with ABC News, Janet Jackson told ABC News that she blames Dr. Conrad Murray for her brother's death, the now dead pop star, Michael Jackson. She blames him because she says he was in charge of his death and therefore he is responsible. Janet, girl I agree with you. A doctor should know what he is doing and should do the best for his patient. Dr. Murray apparently didn't care about the well being of his patient.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, breaks records by selling over 4.7 million copies in one day. It has became the fastest selling video game and has had the "largest entertainment launches ever". The new video game definitely made way more than the previous sell.

World of Warcraft Pet Store

Attention World of Warcraft fans, World of Warcraft has now opened a pet store where users can buy pets for their characters . The pets will cost $10 and yes actually $10 of real money. Part of it will go to Make a Wish Foundation.

Free Games on Zune HD

Zune HD will now have free games for its touch screen. Hooray for free stuff. Unfortunately, it will not have Myspace and Facebook apps until further notice. At least Zune users could now play millions of games for free. It seems like the Zune HD is now better than the Ipod Touch.

Facebook makes Memorials for the Dead

Facebook has announced that the accounts of dead people could be saved and will remain on Facebook as a memorial if friends and family request it. Facebook will keep the Facebook account and no one could log into the account because it will be locked. What a nice thing for Facebook to do. Myspace and other social networks are also doing this.

Celine Dion not pregnant after all

Sad news for Celine Dion because she so badly wanted a second child and at the end it comes out that she is not pregnant. It had been confirmed in August that Celine was expecting her second child with husband Rene Angelil. Now, Celine Dion's doctor says that the "embryo had not been implanted successfully." Celine says she'll try for a second time and hopefully this time she does get pregnant. Her first child was also conceived through vitro fertilization.

Rihanna embarrassed about dating Chris Brownr

The singer, Rihanna, is embarrassed about dating the singer, Chris Brown. She say's she shouldn't have returned with him after what happened. She say's it was a bad idea and she embarrassed. Rihanna is telling her story on Good Morning America this Friday and later at 10 on Nightline. Chris Brown will be telling his version of the story this Friday on MTV.

Twitter invents Twitter Peek

Twitter has created the Twitter Peek, a device that is only used for twittering. The Twitter Peek costs $99 and it requires a $8 subscription per month. This device seems useless because Iphones and computers could do the the same thing and it still has more functions.

Steve Martin & Alec Baldwin to host Oscars

It has been announced that comedian, Steve Martin and actor, Alec Baldwin are going to co-host the Oscars. It is the second time for Steve Martin to host the Oscars and Alec Baldwin's first time. I just hope they are as good as Hugh Jackman.

Google & Music

Google has announced that it will have a new music service. The new music service will have music previews and will have links to music sites like Myspace, Rhapsody and Lala. Also, if a person does not know the name of the song, it will be able to Google part of the lyrics.

Netflix on PS3

It's official, Netflix will be on PS3. PS3 users will have to pay $8.99 a month if they don't have a subscription to Netflix and they could rent movies and tv shows. Netflix will be sending PS3 users a blu-ray disc that way Netflix could wirelessly be on PS3. It seems that Netflix is trying to be on every electronic. For example, in the future Netflix might be on Iphones. Next, they'll probably be on cellphones.

Swine Flu , Recessions and Costumes

Costumes stores are not allowing people to try on masks because they want to prevent swine flu. Many people are taking precautions to have a safe and fun Halloween. Also probably this year less candy will be handed out because of the recession. It sucks that a child's favorite holiday is being ruined because of swine flu and the recession.

Latvia Meteorite was a Hoax

On October 26, 2009, a fake meteorite fell in Latvia in Europe. The meteorite was later considered a hoax. Supposedly the hoax was made by a telephone company to distract the people from the economic crisis the country is going through. Now how are Latvians to trust their government when the government has lied to them about a serious thing. Not only did they scare the Latvians but also they scared other people around the world.

Celebrities Do Halloween

Who would have thought that celebrities would celebrate Halloween, well they do. They come up with the cutest ideas ever. For example, David Archuleta's favorite costume was being a vampire and Adam Lambert will be a vampire this Halloween. It seems that this year people are doing the vampire theme because of New Moon coming out. Taylor Swift remembers going trick or treating and she would love when people would give her Hershey bars and Reese's Pieces. I love how they have time to celebrate and they seem just like normal people.

Taylor Swift's "Fearless" concert has been sold out once again. Her 15 day tour was sold out in a couple of minutes. Now, she is coming out with a new CD, Fearless: Platinum Edition which is a CD and DVD. The country singer decided to make her album platinum because she said it was a great CD and she wanted her fans to hear some of her new songs on this platinum edition album. :)

Meet Sparrow James Midnight Madden

Nicole Richie and Good Charlotte front man, Joel Madden, show us their precious bundle of joy for the very first time. Sparrow James Midnight came into this world on September 9, 2009 and joins 22 month old big sister, Harlow Winter Kate Madden. Congrats to the Richie-Maddens.

I recently interviewed Jeremy Williams, a sophomore at CHAMPS high school and my Best Friend. The future writer/director, and actor wants yours truly, his Best Friend, to be his manager and his interviewer. Since I want to be an entertainment reporter, I'm going to interview my future client.
Me: Do you think you're the skinniest guy at CHAMPS?
Jeremy: I just don't think I'm the skinniest guy, I think I'm the skinniest person at CHAMPS.

Me: What is your grade point average?
Jeremy: Straight A, 4.0

Me: What is your favorite show?
Jeremy: Degrassi, duh!!!

Me: Who is your favorite character and why?
Jeremy: Darcy, who doesn't like Darcy.

Me: What is your favorite episode?
Jeremy: "Standing in the Dark" Part 1 & 2 and I like um "Dress in Black" and Ashley turns all emo. She turns all emo and starts dressing all in black and then her boyfriend wants to change her back to normal to the way she was and uh she discovers that you shouldn't let people change you.

Me: Do you have any ideas on what you're going to write about in the future?
Jeremy: "Dharma Rhode", it's a soap opera following the lives of a group of people living in a small isolated town of Dharma Rhode. I have been writing it since 6th grade, Best Friend and I'm already on season 10. INN

Is Walmart going Wireless?

America's favorite store, Walmart, to start its own cell phone company on October 18, 2009. It will include 2 types of plans a) unlimited talking and texting for $45 a month and b) a $30 plan that has 1000 minutes and 1000 text messages. The plan will have no contract and the phones cost $100. Now America is happy with cheaper cell phone prices during this recession. Thank you so much Walmart. WE LOVE YOU<3!!!

The President of the United States, Barack Obama, has won a Noble Peace Prize. He is the first African-American President to win a Nobel Peace Prize. He is the 4th President to win such a high award like this. I wonder what he's going to do with the big amount of money he got. Maybe he can share the love and give some to his fellow Americans :).

It's official, the Hannah Montana star, Miley Cyrus, has quitted the social network, twitter.com. She says she deleted her twitter account because she wanted her personal live to be private and felt that she wasn't getting any privacy. Miss.
