Carrie Underwood to Perform at Superbowl

Next Sunday, Carrie Underwood will perform the national anthem at the Superbowl. She is the 3rd American Idol singer to be singing at the big event. Previous American Idol singers have been Jordin Sparks and Jennifer Hudson.

Ugly Betty CANCELLED

Sorry Ugly Betty fans, but the show will be cancelled at the end of this season. The show starred America Ferrera and Vanessa Williams. Mexican actress, Salma Hayek was the executive producer of the show. Like they say, the original show is the best one and if producers make remakes of the show it will not have the same results as the original one. The Columbian Betty La Fea was the original of Ugly Betty and then Mexico made its own La Fea Mas Bella. I guess it is time for America Ferrera to find a new job.

Jersey Shore Cast Demanding More Money

It has been reported by the New York Post that the Jersey Shore cast (Nicole aka Snooki, Vinny, Sammi aka Sweetheart, Pauly D, Ronnie, Jen aka JWoww, Mike aka the Situation, and Angelina) that they are demanding more money from MTV. MTV supposedly will replace the cast if they keep demanding for more money.

James McAvoy's Wife Expecting

Congrats to the couple. Scottish actor, James McAvoy and wife actress, Anne Marie Duff, are expecting their first child. The couple has been married since October 2006. James McAvoy has appeared in Atonement and Wanted. The couple must be very happy. :)

SAG Awards

The SAG Awards aired this Saturday on TNT and TBS. Sandra Bullock won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role in The Blind Side and Jeff Bridges won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role in Crazy Heart. Haiti Relief Telethon Tonight at 8

Tonight at 8PM the Haiti Relief Telethon will air on almost all channels which include E!, MTV, CNN, NBC, and etc. George Clooney will donated $1 million and other stars will be donating as well. Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt donated $1 million, Madonna donated $250,000 and Gisele Bundshen donated $1.5 million. It's really nice that stars with big money are donating money. Don't forget to donate money during today's telethon.

Michael Jackson in 3D

This year's Grammys will show a 3D video of Michael Jackson's song, Oxygen (O2). Grammy producer,Ken Ehrlich, said that it did not feel right to make someone imitate his song. The Grammys this year will be really interesting and what a great idea to remember the king of pop.

$40 Million Deal For Conan O'Brien?

It has been reported that Conan O'Brien will be paid $40 million to leave The Tonight Show. Pretty good deal just to leave a show. Originally, Conan O'Brien was paid about $32 -34 million dollar to star in The Tonight Show. Now he will be earning bout $10 million more. O'Brien must be a pretty rich guy.

Robert Pattinson to Join Telethon.

Robert Pattinson is going to be part of the big Telethon to aid Haiti earthquake victims this Friday. There still is no word if Twilight stars, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be part of this fundraiser. One Twilight star who will on the telethon is Anna Kendrick who plays Bella's friend, Jessica, in Twilight and New Moon.

Netflix on Wii

Yay, Netflix is coming to Wii consoles this spring. In order to subscribe to this, the subscriber has to go to Netflix.com/trial if you want a free month of trial. Also, you have to insert a netflix disc into the Wii in order to stream through the movies. This is so good because now the Wii won't be that boring. :)

An Update On Glee

Congrats to Glee for winning a Golden Globe on Sunday for Best Television Comedy or Musical. The Glee cast is excited to be working with the singer, Madonna, on an upcoming episode. Also, it has been rumored that Jennifer Lopez is in the talks to be on one of the episodes. Neil Patrick Harris might also be one of the episodes as a guest star. George Clooney To Host Telethon For Haiti

The ex-sexiest man alive, George Clooney, is going to host a telethon on MTV to help victims from the Haiti earthquake. Many celebrities will be on the telethon and will be donating money to this horrible disaster. The telethon will be airing on NBC, ABC, HBO, all of MTV's channels, and etc next Friday.

Conan O'Brien Says No

The Tonight Show host, Conan O'Brien, is saying no to the idea of starting his show at 12:AM. O'Brien is not agreeing with NBC's decision to change the time slot of his show. NBC wants to change the time slot of The Tonight Show that way comedian, Jay Leno, could get his own half hour show that would be similar to The Jay Leno Show.

Spiderman 4 No Longer Exists

Sorry Spiderman fans but Spiderman 4 will not be returning to the big screen. Tobey Maguire and director, Sam Raimi will not being doing the movie. It's been reported that Raimi and Sony Productions were not agreeing on the same thing. Now the rumor is that a new production will start to film in the summer 2012. This time the movie will be about Peter Parker's teenage life. Darn it and I was so excited to see the 4th one.

Simon Cowell leaving American Idol

It has been confirmed by Simon Cowell that this will be his last year as a judge on the hit show American Idol. The reason for this is because he wants to bring his British show The X Factor to America. Now that Simon is leaving, who will be next to leave the show? Paula Abdul already left the show. Let's just hope that now that Simon leaves, the show will remain being a hit. But now who will play the part of Simon. Let's just wait and see.

Jay Leno Show CANCELLED!!!

It's official, The Jay Leno Show, has been canceled after the Winter Olympics. It has been reported that Jay Leno will star in his own show that will be a half hour before Conan O'Brien's show, The Tonight Show that will start at 11:35 PM. It still isn't sure if O'Brien will agree with the new changes. The last episode for The Jay Leno will air on February 12.

Taylor Lautner to Present at the Golden Globes

Twilight star, Taylor Lautner, is going to present at the Golden Globes this Sunday. Jennifer Aniston, Amy Poehler, and Josh Brolin are going to be presenting as well. The Golden Globes will air on NBC this Sunday, so stay tuned.

Katy Perry & Russell Brand Engaged and Possibly Preggers!!!

The "I Kissed a Girl" singer, Katy Perry and her comedian boyfriend, Russell Brand got engaged on New Years Eve in India. But, it has been rumored that the singer is pregnant. It seems like there is a trend in Hollywood that once celebrities are pregnant, they get engaged and then they announce their pregnancy to the world. For example, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz was pregnant before she got engaged to rocker, Pete Wentz. She later announced her pregnancy after she got engaged. Might this be the case for Katy Perry. Either way congrats to the 2 of them.
